The Senior Loan Officer/Mortgage Supervisor is responsible for originating, processing, underwriting and approving loans for all categories of loans offered by MSCU, with an emphasis on secondary market mortgage lending. This individual is responsible for developing and leading the planning for the penetration of new markets and leveraging existing markets to their full potential. Administration of all software associated with mortgage origination and underwriting, as well as leading and managing the CUSO Mortgage relationship are other areas of responsibility. This individual will lead the mortgage team (direct and indirect reports) in attaining goals, developing skills, developing markets, and generally promoting MSCU.

Requirements:

The successful applicant will be a highly motivated, team and sales oriented, positive thinker with a desire to provide exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. You should have a minimum of five to eight years of mortgage lending experience in originating, processing, and underwriting consumer and mortgage loans for both in-house portfolio and secondary markets. Complete knowledge and understanding of consumer lending and mortgage lending regulations including Truth-in-Lending, RESPA, Regulation Z and the Equal Credit Opportunity Act are required. Also required are demonstrated leadership and management skills.
