The AVP of Finance performs administrative level professional services involving the application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) guidelines in designing, implementing and evaluating Credit Union accounting systems and financial information. Applies advanced accounting skills to ensure the proper functioning and accountability of fiscal operations. Consults with senior managers, managers and other organizational leaders to identify business needs, compliance and reporting requirements. Supervises accounting personnel.

 

Operations Manager

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the Credit Union’s Operations and Information Systems Departments, including planning, directing and organizing, and overseeing 5-7 specialized employees. The Operations Manager makes significant contributions to the formulation, development, and implementation of the Credit Union operational and information systems policies, business goals and objectives. The position reports to our SVP/Chief Operations Officer and works collaboratively with the senior management team and other organizational leaders.

 

Risk Manager

The Risk Manager is responsible for overseeing the Credit Union's risk management program, collaborating with the Chief Operations Officer, Senior Management Team, and the Audit Committee. The risk management program includes the identification and monitoring of financial, operational, and strategic risk throughout all Credit Union business units. The program consists of in-depth data analysis, quantitative risk assessments, comprehensive operational process reviews, reporting, and documentation. The Risk Manager assists management in assessing and mitigating identified risks, including responsibility for ensuring that the organization proactively determines which risks it will accept and retain. This individual will be the Credit Union's designated compliance officer. As the compliance officer, they will be responsible for working with department managers to research and interpret regulatory guidance. This individual oversees employees focused on risk management.

 

Financial Services Representative II - eBranch

The FSR in our eBranch receives members by online technology and telephone; is familiar with and has a thorough understanding of all deposit products and electronic delivery services; builds and maintains strong relationships with our members and proactively explores current and future member needs; and acts as the primary liaison for technical support with regard to the various electronic products and services.  This individual is proficient in managing complex accounts and provides support to other team members seeking guidance or assistance and follows-up on inquiries and resolves problems with the intention of exceeding member expectations.  FSR’s open new accounts and originate loan application request, such as VISA lines of credit, within established guidelines and lending authority.
