About Using the Credit Union During the Holidays

 

 

While, we will not be able to see you in person.  We are here to help you with all your credit union needs as we normally do and are always available for questions. Below are some answers that we hope will address some of your concerns.  Thank you for belonging with Maine State Credit Union.

When will be credit union lobbies open again?   

We are monitoring the COVID cases in our area. Once the trend starts to decrease, we will set a date for the opening of the lobbies.

What are the hours for the drive-thru?

For Capitol Street and Waterville the hours are 7:30 am - 5 pm.  For the Hospital Street branch the hours are 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.

Will I be able to use Shared Branching through the Drive-Thru?   

Yes, you will be able to conduct certain shared branching transactions through the drive-thru. As in-person, shared branching transactions will require identification verification. 

What will I be able to do through the drive-thru?

You will be able to conduct most of the same transaction that you usually do in person.  This includes - cash advances, teller checks, money orders.  You will also be able to call ahead and request a new debit card. 

Will I be able to get teller checks and money orders through the drive-thru? 

Yes, you will be able to get teller checks and money orders through the drive-thru. 

Will I be able to send/receive coins through the drive-thru? 

Unfortunately, due to the structure of our drive-thru tubes,we are not able to send or receive coins.  

Will I be able to get new bills for the holidays?

Yes, upon request, we will provide you with new bills through the drive-thru.

Do I need a car to use the drive-thru? 

While safety is our utmost concern, we understand that some of our members, do not have a vehicle and therefore, with extreme caution in mind, we will allow people, bikes, etc. in the drive-thru lane. 

What if I have a specific question about my statement or loan? 

If you have a question that you would usually meet with a financial services representative for, please call our eBranch at 207-623-1851, option 2 and someone will be happy to help you and if necessary will schedule an appointment to meet in person.

What if I want to apply for a loan? 

If you want to apply for a loan you can do so by calling the  eBranch at 623-1851, option 2, or apply online at MaineStateCU.org/apply for a loan 

What if I need a new debit card? 

Please call us in advance at 623-1851, option 2 and we will have it printed and available when you arrive at the drive-thru – or you can opt to have us mail it to you. 

What if I have a question about my credit card? 

Card Services staff, as well as our eBranch, will be able to assist you over the phone.  Please call us at 623-1851, option 2.
