Maine State helps Kids be Kids

AUGUSTA, ME – Maine State Credit Union donated $2,000 to local organizations whose mission is to support the Greater Augusta and Waterville area youth. Maine State Credit Union set up a scholarship fund at the Boys & Girls Club of Kennebec Valley to help send kids to summer camp.  

 “The past year has been challenging for everyone, especially kids,” said Tucker Cole, President and CEO of Maine State Credit Union.  “We wanted to make sure kids can still be kids and have the opportunity to enjoy their summer by going to camp and experiencing all the great summer camp activities.” 

In addition to helping kids attend summer camp, Maine State Credit Union also donated to the Greater Augusta Public Schools to help provide school supplies to the classrooms this fall and to the Maine Children’s Home for Little Wanderers Christmas in July program.
