Announces promotions and organizational re-alignment 

May 4, 2021 - Augusta, ME – Maine State Credit Union continues to thrive and deliver exceptional service to all its members.  Membership grew by 5%, and usage of digital grew by 38% in 2020. 

“2020 was a tough year for everyone, not just credit unions,” said Tucker Cole, President, and CEO of Maine State Credit Union. “Our employees stepped up to the plate and provided our members with outstanding service, by managing drive-thru lines into the street, and taking over 500 calls a day. This commitment to service helped us to grow our membership and introduced the ease of online and mobile banking to many for the first time.”  

“We have a strong group of leaders who did not hesitate to pivot when needed, “said Cole. “To build upon this momentum, we are re-aligning several departments.  This will not only allow us to continue to grow but will also put us in a position to expand into the counties of Cumberland, Androscoggin, and Sagadahoc.”  

Stephen Wallace will lead the retail and lending teams as Senior Vice President, Chief Retail and Lender Officer, and Erin Campbell will lead the finance and human resource departments as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial and People Officer. Adam Kavanagh will oversee the operations team as Senior Vice President, Chief Operations Officer.
