Maine State Credit Union has an opening for a Facilities Technician. This individual assists in the effort to efficiently operate, maintain, and protect our facilities, grounds, and infrastructure in such a way as to create and sustain a clean, safe, functional and aesthetic environment conducive to providing the best service available to the members and employees of Maine State Credit Union.


A few of the regular responsibilities include a variety of custodial and maintenance related tasks at all Credit Union facilities; processing and delivering USPS mail and internal mail; oversight of vendors and service technicians; assisting with the management/maintenance of various facility and security related systems; inspections of Credit Union grounds; transporting records to designated areas; and assisting with the purchase of equipment, furniture and supplies.


The successful applicant will have relevant work experience, a valid driver's license and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and travel independently; a personal vehicle with insurance for the purpose of travel related to Credit Union business operations; general knowledge of building maintenance (plumbing, construction, electrical, HVAC, etc.); ability to operate general office equipment; proficient use of a computer and Microsoft Office; ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds occasionally; ability to work independently with limited supervision; demonstrate an ability to manage multiple projects/tasks; prioritize effectively; remain flexible and meet deadlines. A high school diploma or GED is required.
