Staying Healthy This Flu Season
No one likes to get sick. Aside from feeling terrible you may also miss work, school, gatherings with friends and family and other every day activities.Follow these recommendations to cut down your chances of becoming sick:
- Wash your hands often
- Cover sneezes and coughs (use your sleeve instead of your hands)
- Drink plenty of fluids
- Get plenty of rest
- Exercise regularly
- Don't rub your eyes with your fingers
- Avoid large groups in confined spaces
- If you're sick, stay home if possible
- Wear a surgical mask to minimize risk of transmission
